What is Emotional Baggage?
Just about everyone has some amount of traumatic emotional baggage from painful life events, right? Emotional baggage is very real, and although it’s invisible it can easily disrupt your happiness, your success and your health. It’s like lugging around a suitcase from every difficult event you’ve gone through; eventually, the load gets too heavy not to notice. I call each “suitcase” a Trapped Emotion; a bit of emotional energy that was created, by you, during an emotional event, that then got stuck in your body somewhere.
According to The Emotion Code™, Trapped Emotions are literally like balls of energy, vibrating at different frequencies depending on what the emotion is (for example, Anger is a different vibration than Sadness or Insecurity). These negative and potentially destructive vibrations may affect the physical body wherever they are stuck, creating distress and malfunction. They can also cause you to feel miserable, stressed, and bring other mental and emotional problems. In fact, medical science is now finding that unresolved Trauma and Trapped Emotions are possibly one of the major underlying factors for the majority of pain and dis-eases in the body!
Trapped Emotions can make life difficult in many ways (bad habits, cycles, limiting beliefs, etc), but you can get rid of that energy using The Emotion Code™ and lighten your load for good!
Some examples of what unresolved Hidden Trauma and Trapped Emotions look like in day to day life are:

What is a Heart-Wall?
During times of emotional distress, your emotional heart can feel really hurt; this is where the words ‘heartache’ and ‘heartbreak’ come from. This may prompt your body to put up a form of protection, or a ‘wall’ around the heart to keep it safe from further harm — but you can’t build a wall out of nothing, right?
We believe that the ‘building material’ of a Heart-Wall is energy — specifically Trapped Emotions from perceived trauma. The problem is that the Heart-Wall can stick with you even after the heartache has passed, and you no longer need that protection. Think of living with a Heart-Wall as living in a bomb shelter; it’s necessary short-term to protect you while the ‘bombs’ are falling, but if you continue to live in there you’ll likely feel sad, disconnected, frustrated, and you could even end up with more problems down the road.
The good news is that the Heart-Wall can be removed, one emotion at a time. This can free you to live from your heart, create abundance, and find true love and fulfilling relationships. And isn’t that what life is all about? I want to help you THRIVE!

What is Muscle Testing?
Muscle testing is a God-given gift to help ourselves and others. It is a non-invasive tool that can help identify imbalances in the body.
The science behind it is similar to a lie detector test or a polygraph. In a polygraph, a person is hooked up to sensitive electrodes and asked specific questions. The person’s answers generate a certain electrical response in the body, which is read and graphed by the machine to show whether the answers are true or false. This is done on a very delicate, minute scale. The muscles of the body are also affected by this electrical state. Muscle testing is designed to use those effects to show this same kind of response, just on a larger and more pronounced scale. The principle is that any muscle becomes weakened in a state of incongruence or falsehood (like a lie on a lie detector test) making resistance difficult. Conversely, muscles remain strong and able to resist when in a state of congruence or truth. What’s great is that muscle testing allows us to access important information about health and has actually been scientifically shown to be over 95% accurate at identifying an ailment or imbalance in specific organs and areas of the body. Empowered with this information, you and your health practitioners can focus their testing on the correct area rather than running numerous unnecessary tests. Not only that, at times we can even discern the underlying cause of the issue and help direct you toward practitioners or lifestyle changes that may increase your body’s ability to THRIVE. We just have to know what questions to ask, apply the resistance to a muscle, and then gauge the response to get our answers!

What is Proxy Testing & How Can This Work Remotely?
Proxy testing is muscle testing that is done on a proxy; a person who acts in place of another person. If Emily in England wants to help Alice in Australia, she can act as proxy for Alice herself, using self-testing, or she can also have an assistant act as proxy for Alice. Then Emily can carry out the work as normal, just as if Alice were right there, and all the while intending to help Alice.
When Emily is done, she, or her assistant, will make sure to disconnect from Alice; just like hanging up the phone at the end of a chat. Actually, proxy testing is designed to work quite a bit like how cellular phones work. Our bodies have built-in potential to quickly and easily “dial” someone else and create an energetic connection with them, like talking on the phone. Once you’re connected, you can get answers about what is going on with this other person’s body, because you’re picking up their energetic signal. Then once you know what needs to be fixed, you can fix it on the proxy person as well, and it can correct the problem on the person who you’re intending to help, no matter how far away they are.
Because of this, I have had great success helping people of all ages overcome emotional trauma and physical pain through a phone consultation or even just a text or email. And of course, the amount of information I obtain about the specifics of any traumatic event that caused the Trapped Emotion or Heart-Wall is up to you.
Not only does proxy testing allow for successful long-distance sessions, but is also very powerful for ANYONE of ANY AGE whether or not they can speak, are mentally coherent or even aware of their surroundings – for example, those with non-verbal autism, babies, people in comas and even animals of all kinds.
Why I use a Magnet?
Just like a magnifying glass will intensify sunlight enough to start a fire, magnets can act as an amplifier for the energy of your thoughts and intentions enough to produce a change in the body.
The intentions and thoughts we have are made of energy. Magnets are energy. Your body is energy. Because of this, one can have an effect on the other.
When we identify a Trapped Emotion with The Emotion Code™, we must first intend to release it — this is intention energy. Then, using a magnet and its energy to amplify the energy of the intention, we put that intention energy into the body. We use the Governing Meridian as the entrance point for the amplified intention energy, because the Governing Meridian is an energy reservoir that connects directly to all the acupuncture meridians of the entire body. When you put the ‘intent to release’ energy into the Governing Meridian, it flows instantly throughout the body and the Trapped Emotion can actually be released because of that energy!
What happens after an Emotion Code Session?
Doing The Emotion Code™ is like doing surgery on the energy body. We are literally looking for harmful or blocking energies that need to be removed. After their removal, the energy body has to recover and restore its balance. If you had actual surgery to remove a tumor, you would expect to have at least a few days of downtime afterward. Your surgeon would likely tell you what to expect in your recovery, and recommend some extra rest.
The advice after a session with The Emotion Code™ is just about the same! Be aware that if you feel out of sorts, have changes in your sleeping pattern, vivid dreams or emotional ups and downs, this is totally normal, these are just “processing symptoms” and they should go away after no more than 24-48 hours. I encourage you to allow these emotions (crying, frustration, etc) to flow through you naturally, drink lots of water, eat healthy food, and get lots of rest while the energy body recovers. You may not experience any symptoms, or you may even feel great, but it’s better to be aware just in case.
What are Limiting Beliefs?
Hidden Limiting Beliefs are subconscious “programs” that you picked up, especially during the first 7 years of your life. They are beliefs about yourself, others, the world around you and how it all works. These beliefs may or may not be true, but they are the underlying “program” that your body and mind are running every single day and affecting every single decision, choice and emotional response you have, moment to moment.

Just like Trapped Emotions and Unresolved Trauma, we can identify the Hidden Limiting Belief or Misconception, release it and replace it with positive affirmations and beliefs. In some cases, there are also Trapped Emotions associated with the affected area of your life as well.

What is Heart Coherence?
